Urinary Incontinence

There are several different kinds of surgeries to correct stress incontinene, that occurs when weakened pelvic floor muscles result in the collapse of the neck bladder or urethra. These surgeries help to lift the urethra, the bladder,or both into their normal position. After this intervention, sneezing, coughing, and laughing are less likely to result in urine leaking from the bladder.

Tension-free vaginal tape (TVT) and other similar methods like (TOT) are used to correct stress incontinence caused by sagging of the urethra. It is a relatively simple procedure that can be done with minimal hospitalization and recovery time.
